PORTAL OF ENTRY AND EXIT OF MICROORGANISMS

most of the microorganism  enter in human body through the a particular portal and cause disease in human body. most of the pathogen can causes infection only if they enter through a particular route they route or portal are following .
  1. skin
  2. respiratory tract
  3. digestive tract
  4. genitourinary tract
1. skin - skin is the largest organ of our body and largest number of microorganism present in skin but most of microorganism not enter in skin because skin is unbroken styphylococci and some fungi are able to penetrated under certain condition and cause disease in deeper tissue.

2. respiratory tract - it is a common portal of enter microorganism because many microorganism present in air they are spread widely  during inhalation of  oxygen or talking , coughing, sneezing these enter into respiratory tract with inhaled O example organism causing diseases such as tuberculosis , pneumonia, clod , diphtheria, etc.

PORTAL OF EXIT -

microorganism leave from the body through the same system or portal they enterd  in body example organism causing respiratory disease usually given through nasal discharge and sputum etc.

1. blood - most of the bacteria present in infected blood and we are transfusion the infected blood for healthy man causes disease .

2.skin - microorganism leave from the skin we contact with infected skin or material microorganism
