ASEPSIS
Asepsis is a method of kill microorganisms or free from microorganisms in hospital ,clinic ,or any health care center.
DEFINITION OF ASEPSIS
Asepsis is the procedure use to keep the object or area sterile or completely free from microorganisms.
These method mostly divided into two types --
1. Surgical asepsis .
2.Medical asepsis.
1. MEDICAL ASEPSIS -- Medical asepsis refer to any number of particles that are generated during provide patient health care and this technique disired to prevent the spread infection this techniques is some time called clean techniques it help to imployed prevent the infection .
Example - Hand washing and 5 safety measure and chemicals such as acid , dettol .
2. SURGICAL ASEPSIS -- Surgical asepsis method means completely free from microorganisms into the surgical material such as all instruments used in O.T.
Example -- Sterile techniques .
** Importance Of Asepsis**
A. It provide held to control infection .
B. Reduce the number of microorganisms .
C. It completely kill microorganisms .
D. It control communicable disease .
E. It help to divide the procedure during medical condition and surgical condition .
